What a treat it was to join my aunt and some of her friends for dinner at La Fortuna. Love how the place has been decorated since it became La Fortuna (formerly Stella's). The service was great, our waiter was very attentive even though it took us a while to look at the menus and we sat and visited for a while after our leftovers were packaged to take home. The servings are huge! I'm not sure I even ate a third of the fettuccine alfredo. It was delicious and filling. The bread was served warm and fresh from the oven, it was hard to resist. I will get 3-4 meals out of this order, which reheats well in a warm oven. This was a 5 star experience and I can't wait to go back!

This was a recommendation from some foodie friends, and when my friends and I arrived, my foodie friends were enjoying another night out there! That's the sign of a great spot. The ambiance was warm and friendly...we watched as the staff came together to sing Happy birthday to a neighboring table. We started with warm bread with oil and some fun peppers. The oil was a little leaky but still delicious. I ordered the pesto gnocchi which was flavorful and delicious. We found ourselves trying each others food as the portions were enormous! But leftovers, yay! I also tried the penne vodka and the pasta included with the eggplant Parm, both al dente and delicious! We ended the meal with some tasty cannolis, presented beautifully! I can't wait to come back!

Food was great! Loved the sauce so much! Ordered a charcuterie board, penne alla vodka, some specials and a salad. Food came out fast and drinks were delicious!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, both of us opted for specials that aren't on the regular menu. We sat at the bar and service was fine, not super attentive or friendly but not bad either. The drinks were made well and the timing of the entrees and appetizer were good. The Fried Calamari was over cooked so a bit chewy and the only sauce available was marinara, we prefer aioli. The Surf & Turf was delicious and perfectly cooked and the Sea Bass was as well however the greens were a bit on the bitter side. The best part was the portions were so big we got to take home leftovers that heated up beautifully! All in all, it was a good experience!

Once again we had an excellent meal at La Fortuna. Brocolli Rabe & Sausage, Grilled Octopus and a Fig & Arugula salad were all outstanding. Service at the bar was excellent. This is just a great place! Don't miss it!

La Fortuna, an Italian-American restaurant with a very lively bar area succeeded in providing our large group of diners competently prepared entrees of enormous size - without a long wait - on a very busy Friday night. This was my first time dining here & I was cautiously optimistic based on the Yelp reviews. We made a reservation early in the week for a Friday night. Our table was reserved & ready for our large group without a wait. The special of sea bass with mashed potatoes & garlic spinach was excellent. Bread also very good. Several compatriots had the Caesar Salad - of a size enough to share - and it looked wonderfully fresh & not over dressed. Generous portions of Seafood in the SPAGHETTI PESCATORA entree were enjoyed by many in our group. Our servers were friendly & professional & the floor manager, Hugo, was a cheerful presence & extremely helpful too, bussing tables & providing refills of bread on demand when our servers were off serving others. While I didn't partake, cocktails were beautiful & generous & the wine list was appropriate for the food offerings with fair pricing. La Fortuna is Not a place for an intimate dinner on a Friday date night but your date will still be wowed by the food & friendly service.

Pretty good! I'll say, the inside was freezing .. tooooo cold. They weren't able to adjust the temp and you could see other people were also quite cold. Liked the food - all presented well. Chicken Marsala "sauce" was a bit thick and salty for my liking. Overall, a 3.5 experience. Came here for a birthday.
